What is Chemical Peel?
A chemical peel is a treatment used to improve skin texture and firmness, decreasing fine lines and wrinkles, even out skin tone, improve acne-prone skin and reduce pore size appearance. In this process, an acid like Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Hyaluronic Acid & …)with different concentrations, is applied to the skin to lower the pH, which loosens the connections between dead skin cells, inducing exfoliation and stimulating new cell growth. This process causes superficial layers of dead skin to peel off, revealing a smoother and more radiant complexion. Chemical peels can also thicken the epidermis, increase dermal volume and stimulate collagen.
At Golden Pulse Clinic we are using PCA chemical peels. This line has developed highly effective peels that safely treat all skin types and skin conditions. PCA chemical peels are essential to overall skin health causing little to no discomfort and downtime.
PCA peels could treat different conditions and concerns on skin. Different PCA chemical peels could be helpful in:
- Smoothing fine lines and wrinkles
- Stimulating collagen growth
- Removing dead skin cell
- Hydrating skin
- Lightening pigmentation
- Treating blemishes, including adult acne
There is no downtime with PCA SKIN chemical peels — you’ll leave your appointment with a healthy glow and able to carry on with your regular activities. As long as you protect your skin against sun, you can have our chemical peels without any problem in the summer too.
The only point that should take it to consideration is that a single chemical peel can provide the immediate effect of bright and radiant skin. However, more significant results in treating textural issues, fine lines and inflamed acne take time. We believe in repeated treatments for progressive and gradual results, and to avoid the side effects and downtime associated with deeper peels. When peels are performed regularly, the skin gets used to this process and begins to rejuvenate itself like younger skin.
