  • Avoid all alpha hydroxy and beta hydroxyl products (AHA/BHA), hydroquinone, retinol/retinoid, Tazorac, and Differin for 7 days before treatment.
  • Clients who have used Accutane or similar products within the last 6 months can not have laser hair removal treatments.
  • The client should not perform any physical activity that increases body temperature or blood pressure on the day of treatment.
  • If you have Botox or dermal fillers in the treated area, wait 14 days before and after injection to receive treatments.
  • Antibiotics may increase photosensitivity. It is recommended that you check with your physician prior to receiving laser treatments if you are taking a long-term antibiotic.
  • Stop waxing, tweezing, coloring, use depilatory creams, or having electrolysis on the treatment area for at least 4 weeks before and throughout the entire course of your treatments. Shaving is permitted as often as desired during the treatment.

  • Cleanse the area with warm water. Avoid extremities of heat such as hot showers, hot tubs, and saunas for 72 hours after treatment.
  • If you are experiencing ingrown hairs, a gentle exfoliator may be used in between treatments.
  • Immediately after your treatment there likely will be some slight redness, swelling around the hair follicles, and mild discomfort similar to a sunburn. You may use aloe gel or cool packs may be applied.
